I will pay to have your film scanned!
Films of historic crews are the most precious items I am searching for.  In return for your permission to reproduce in my book
selected frames from your important film, I will pay for it to be digitally scanned onto a DVD by the company of your choice and
provide you with a digital copy as well as returning the original film.
I encourage your participation in this project:
This book project is a labor of love for me.  I have already learned so much, and I am looking forward to sharing this knowledge.  But
no history of rowing will be complete until I have heard from everyone in the community who has a piece of the puzzle to contribute.
Thank you so very much.

In 2000, I wrote my first book on
rowing,
An Out-of-Book Experience.
It's a humorous memoir
recommended by Brad Lewis,
Steve Gladstone and Tiff Wood,
among many others.

Thanks so much to everyone who is already contributing.  I have had wonderful conversations with rowers and coaches from
around the world.   Many have provided valuable pieces to the historical puzzle of rowing.
